About FYM Festival

Our international music festival offers a global platform for music enthusiasts and professionals alike. We provide participants with a comprehensive international perspective on music education. Our diverse summer programs include a specialized Chinese music and culture track, as well as opportunities to study music abroad, designed to help students fulfill their aspirations of studying in the United States and Europe. Our distinguished jury, comprised of faculty from world-renowned conservatories, ensures the highest level of professional guidance and impactful instruction. The Forte Yearly Music Festival is proud to collaborate with the esteemed International Music Competition “Classic Music Awards,” based in the United States.

Carnegie Hall / Lincoln Center Ceremony Concerts

Applicants who successfully pass the online application for the Forte Yearly Music Festival would exempt from the first round of our partner competition the Classic Music Awards International Competition, the winners of our competition will receive invitation letters to perform at our prestigious Ceremony Concerts at Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center in August 2025, in New York City.

Chinese Music and Culture Summer Program

One of our specialized summer programs, scheduled for July 2025, features a Chinese music academy and cultural tour in China. Qualified applicants will spend 7 days in Beijing or Shanghai, receiving top-tier instruction in Chinese classical music from professors at the nation’s leading music conservatories. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage behind the music, experiencing it firsthand. Certified applicants may also be invited to perform at renowned concert halls across China (July 2025) and Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center in the United States (August 2025).

Music Study Abroad Summer Program

This Music Study Abroad Summer Program is specifically designed for applicants aspiring to study music in the United States and Europe. The program includes masterclasses with professors from top American and European conservatories, study abroad lectures, consultations, in-person tours of prestigious U.S. conservatories and universities (August 2025), and application agency services upon request. Qualified applicants will be invited to perform in China (July 2025) and in the United States (August 2025) at Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center.
