Recent concert and oratorio engagements for Jamie Ratcliffe include performances of Handel’s MESSIAH, Mozart’s CORONATION MASS and REGINA COELI, Vivaldi’s GLORIA, and Brahms’ GEISTLICHES WIEGENLIED.
Jamie earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Syracuse University, magna cum laude. In her former musical life, Jamie Ratcliffe was a conductor and music director. She earned a Master of Music degree in Conducting Performance from University of Oregon. Jamie was honored to have the opportunity to study directly under Helmut Rilling and conduct public performances through the Oregon Bach Festival. Additionally, Jamie Ratcliffe attended the Conductor’s Institute of South Carolina where she studied with composer Libby Larsen in a conducting workshop, working directly with Ms. Larsen on preparation and rehearsal for Ms. Larsen’s own composition, String Symphony. Jamie Ratcliffe was music director and conductor of the orchestra at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
