Lin Ye is an internationally acclaimed Chinese pianist, recognized for his artistic excellence and remarkable achievements in major competitions. He has been awarded First Prize at the Anton Rubinstein International Piano Competition, Chopin International Piano Competition (USA), Troisdorf International Piano Competition, and High Point International Piano Competition, among others. In 2018, he won Third Prize at the prestigious Rina Sala Gallo International Piano Competition in Italy.
As an active concert artist, Lin Ye has performed in some of the world’s most renowned venues, including Carnegie Hall and Merkin Hall in New York, Zipper Hall in Los Angeles, Mixon Hall in Cleveland, Hong Kong City Hall, and Beijing Zhongshan Music Hall. He has collaborated with distinguished orchestras such as the Verdi Philharmonic Orchestra (Italy), Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra (China), Wratislavia Chamber Orchestra (Poland), and New York Artists Philharmonic Orchestra (USA).
In 2020, Lin Ye released his debut solo album, “Dawn and Dusk,” under KNS Classical and was honored with the European New Music Stars Award for Best Solo Piano Album of the Year.
Born in China, Lin Ye was admitted at the age of 14 to the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, where he studied in the pre-college program and was awarded the German National Scholarship. He later earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the same institution. In 2016, he continued his studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he pursued an Artist Diploma under the guidance of Antonio Pompa-Baldi.
Currently, Lin Ye is an Artist of the Sarasota Artists Alliance (USA) and a KNS Classical Artist (Europe), actively performing and engaging in international music projects.
